This blog is authored by Alvalyn  Lundgren, a practicing designer, illustrator, photographer and writer.  A second-generation native Californian, Alvalyn has a grown daughter currently serving in the U. S. Marine Corps and two Australian Shepherds which keep her company in her studio. She has traveled to every state in the U.S. and extensively throughout Canada.
